Join us on Friday November 1st 2024 at Miami Beach Golf Club for our Fifth Annual Heartbeats for PATCHES Golf Tournament. We’re raising money and awareness for PATCHES PPEC, a non-profit nursing center for children with complex medical needs.

Playing For The Children
William Grayson “Grayway” Richards is a 13-year-old junior golf sensation and student at Miami Country Day School. Competing in elite tournaments nationwide, he has won over 40 tournaments. Gray recently placed 7th at the U.S. Kids Golf World Championship in Pinehurst and 5th in the Under Armour World Championships in the 13-14 age division and is ranked 10 in the world for under 13. He was also named the top player on his school’s golf team for 2023.
Gray’s talent has earned him sponsorships from Titleist, TaylorMade, and Adidas. Beyond the golf course, he is committed to giving back. Gray has played in our Heartbeats for PATCHES Golf competition to spotlight the cause of the medically fragile children who are cared for at PATCHES Pediatric Nursing Center.
Gray visited PATCHES to meet the children and understand what it meant to conquer the challenges of serious illness. After meeting with the children, Gray was determined to represent them as the face of PATCHES and use his talent and fighting spirit of his game to play on their behalf.

PATCHES
Opened in 2006 to serve economically vulnerable children in South Dade with complex medical illnesses. The center is open 12 hours a day 5 days a week to provide life-saving professional nursing care, therapies, nutrition and educational enrichment in a compassionate, loving environment.
